Florida End of Course (EOC)

Florida End of Course (EOC) assessments are required by the state of Florida in some courses. Public school students enrolled in and/or receiving credit for one of these courses, regardless of grade level, are required to take the Florida End of Course (EOC) assessment upon completion of the course. This includes middle school students completing a course associated with a Florida EOC assessment, regardless of whether they are receiving high school credit. The results of the EOC assessments will serve as 30% of the final grade in each course. Please note: The Florida EOC does not replace the course’s semester or final exam.

Students enrolling in a public school from other schools or programs are required to take and pass the Florida EOC assessment prior to receiving credit for the course. The courses that require a Florida EOC assessment are as follows:

  • Algebra 1
  • Biology
  • Geometry
  • US History
  • M/J Civics (7th grade)

Additional information on the Florida EOC Assessments.

Students enrolled in Pasco eSchool’s Full-Time Virtual Instruction Program will be scheduled to complete their required state testing at Pasco eSchool. Information about test administration will be emailed home to families, as well as communicated electronically. Participation in state assessments is required by Florida Statute 1002.45.

Students who are enrolled at another public school while taking one or more online courses with Pasco eSchool will complete their required state assessments at their physical school site. Please contact the testing coordinator at your student’s local school for more information.

20325 Gator Lane, Land O’ Lakes, FL 34638 7:06 Testers are allowed to bring a snack Visitor parking is in front of the school in the designated sign spots. If there are no visitor parking spots available, students can park in the loop spots that are not taken. If there are not spots available there, then we recommend that they park in the district parking lot and walk over. Carline is in front of the school and will have heavy traffic from 6:45-7:15. This can impact parking so allowing extra time for an 8 AM test would be best practice. We recommend that all students who are off-campus arrive no later than 45 minutes early for the exam. If the exam is at 8:00 AM, be here by 7:15 AM. Testing rooms will usually open between 20-30 minutes before the exam. If the exam is at 12:00 PM, be here at 11:15 AM. Our front office staff knows that students will come for testing from off-campus. Please check in at the front and wait for a peer or office support staff to bring the student back to the exam. Once you are checked in, our front office will notify our testing staff to help get the student where they need to be, hence why the 45 minutes is best so that we have time to get you to the testing location without stress.
