Pasco Hernando State College has opened up its Spring Dual Enrollment application.
To be eligible, students must meet the following criteria per Section 1007.271(3), F.S.:
  • Be enrolled as a student in a Florida public or nonpublic secondary school (grades 6-12), or in a home education program;
  • Have a 3.0 unweighted high school grade point average (GPA) to enroll in college credits, or a 2.0 unweighted high school GPA to enroll in career dual enrollment courses;
*Students who have not previously taken courses with PHSC will also need to take the PERT, please see the link below to sign up to take the exam at one of PHSC’s testing sites.

Please note some important links below which contain information about specific dates, by grade level, for when students can begin choosing courses.  Also note that there is an Open Registration for Dual Enrollment period that runs from November 23, 2020 – January 10, 2021.   The second link contains a variety of important information including eligibility criteria, textbook information & planning resources.
Please also note– All new students to PHSC are required to complete the online readiness course which takes approximately 2 hours to complete.  Once your application is processed, the course is automatically added by PHSC, it is not something you can add yourself.  You will access the online readiness course by logging into myPHSC, going to Canvas and then selecting the “Online Readiness at PHSC” course from your “Courses” menu.
