Mrs. Glenn has served as the administrator for Pasco eSchool since its launch in 2009. Though she began her career as a high school administrator for the District School Board of Pasco County in 2006, she has been a mathematics teacher in the Tampa Bay Area since 1994, teaching all levels of middle school and high school mathematics. When she had the opportunity to begin teaching online in 1999, she didn’t hesitate. It’s a passion and hobby she continues today! Mrs. Glenn is proud to lead the staff and faculty who are bringing the future of education to students today. She lives in Tampa, FL with her husband, two children, and two crazy chihuahuas. She’s a rabid fan of the University of Florida Gators, and spends her free time reading.
Dr. Wiggins has served as an assistant principal at Pasco eSchool since the fall of 2013. Though she began her career in 1990 as a Speech Language Pathologist and Varying Exceptionalities teacher for the District School Board of Pasco County, she has been a district administrator since 2004. It was during her service with the district office that she assisted with the launching of Pasco eSchool in 2009. She is passionate about student learning! Dr. Wiggins is honored to lead and empower the staff and faculty who are creating innovative learning experiences for our students each and everyday. She lives in Pasco County with her husband and two fur children (Annie and Hunter). She recently received her doctorate at the University of Florida in Curriculum and Instruction.
Mrs. Willoughby joins the Ninja crew after being a Wildcat at Wesley Chapel High School for six years, serving as media specialist, graduation enhancement coach and Television Production teacher. She is a second-career educator, and was a graphic designer for print and broadcast for almost 20 years prior to becoming a teacher in 2005. A native of Massachusetts, she attended Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL, and later earned her Master of Education in Educational Leadership degree from Saint Leo University. In her spare time, she loves to paint, read, and escape to Disney World. Mrs. W and her husband are proud parents of their son, who graduated from WCHS in 2015 and is a mechanical engineering major at Florida Polytechnic University.
American Sign Language Teacher
Ms. Nancy Barbara brings close to 40 years teaching experience to Pasco e-School’s ASL program. A native user of ASL, Ms. Barbara has taught at NYU, USF, and in the Hillsborough Community College Interpreter Training Program. Ms. Barbara was born and raised in Margate, NJ, and attended Drew University in Madison, NJ for a dual degree in Education and Liberal Arts. She later relocated to New York, and attained her MA in Deafness Education and Community Health Education from NYU. ASL is not just a language to Ms. Barbara, it is her life-long mission and passion to inspire and motivate individuals to learn ASL so they can have meaningful conversations with the Deaf Community. Ms. Barbara loves to cook, and has a green thumb; she raises African Violets, and grows her own herbs and vegetables. She is also an avid nature photographer and can be found from moonset to sunset wandering in fields of wildflowers snapping pictures of anything that will stand still long enough from birds and butterflies to Longhorn cattle.
I joined the Pasco County School District in 2006. I have taught at Gulf High School since 2007 as a Full Time Spanish teacher where I taught all levels of Spanish with a special concentration in the International Bachelorette Program. My previous teaching experience includes Spanish I-IV at Clearwater Catholic High School in Clearwater, FL and Spanish and Art History at Derenne Middle School and St. Andrews on the Marsh School, both in Savannah, Ga. I also taught English as a second language in Spain. I graduated from Clearwater Central Catholic High School in 1985 and earned a B.A. degree in Spanish and International Studies from Georgia Southern University and an M.A. degree in Spanish Language from Middlebury College in Vermont. The biggest joy for myself as an educator is seeing students come to realize their learning potential and watching them blossom into being knowledge seekers who experience great success with anything they are studying.

Mr. Blair joined Pasco E-School in 2012 after teaching 26 years with River Ridge High School and Gulf High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Western Carolina University and his master’s in Marketing Education from the University of South Florida. He enjoys traveling with his wife and four beautiful children. Mr. Blair stays involved by coaching his son’s soccer and t-ball teams. He truly believes that every student needs the employability skills taught in the DCT class.
Mrs. Blair grew up in Pasco County Schools and knew she wanted to make a positive impact on others through teaching before she graduated high school and majored in Education at Florida International University. Since 1999 she has had the opportunity to work in a traditional setting as a Special Education teacher and online teaching English 3, College Prep English 4 and Social Media courses. She enjoys helping others and encouraging students to do their best. She believes that learning is a life long process. She also enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband and 4 kids fishing, swimming, camping, playing or going to one of our favorite places, Disney World.

Mrs. Blue currently teaches Language Arts for 6th ,7th , and 8th grade for Pasco eSchool. After completing her Master’s degree in Secondary English Education, Mrs. Blue starting teaching in Pasco in 1999, and has taught at Weightman Middle School, Seven Springs Middle School, and Sunlake High School. Mrs. Blue also spent two years working at the District Office in the Staff Development department prior to joining eSchool. She loves to read and write and has a true passion for learning and working with students to help them be successful. In her spare time, she likes spending time with her two young sons and her husband.

Mrs. Bopp has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from UCF, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from UCF, with a Minor in Sociology, and Areas of Concentration in Criminal Justice and Health Studies. She also has a certificate in Criminal Profiling, and a certificate in Behavioral Forensics. Mrs. Bopp also has an AA degree from PHCC. She is certified in Family and Consumer Science, holds a Vocational Certification with Pasco County Schools for Criminal Justice, and holds a full professional teaching certification in the State of Florida. Mrs. Bopp likes to spend time with her husband and children. She also likes to read, garden, and have gatherings with family and friends.

Ms. Boukhasmar started her career in Education in 2006 after graduating from the University of Texas with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She has been working in Pasco County Schools ever since. She has taught elementary, middle school math, and technology. Spending time with her family is one of Ms. Boukhasmar’s favorite things to do. Ms. Boukhasmar also enjoys running, swimming, and cooking.

Ms. Buntyn currently teaches Driver Education & Traffic Safety with Pasco eSchool. She has been a teacher with Pasco County Schools since 1997. Ms. Buntyn loves helping students achieve success and become life-long learners. When not teaching, she loves traveling, shopping, and spending time with her son, husband, and two dogs.

Mrs. Carr earned her Master’s degree in Counselor Education from Florida State University. She has had the opportunity of counseling students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, as well as working as a counselor at St. Petersburg College. She joined Pasco eSchool in the Fall of 2014 and is excited to be a part of online learning.
Mrs. Carter has been teaching in Pasco County for 10 years. She has taught Reading and English and has been a Literacy and Instructional Coach. She is passionate about helping students fall in love with reading and learning. She is a graduate of Saint Leo University with a Masters in Educational Leadership and of St. Petersburg College with a Bachelors in Exceptional Student Education. Born and raised in Florida, Mrs. Carter enjoys spending her time with her husband and kids boating, fishing, and camping.
Mrs. Carter earned her Biology degree from the University of South Florida. After working in research laboratories at Moffitt Cancer Center and Emory University, Mrs. Carter decided to join the field of teaching. She has taught in Pasco County since 2002 and virtually since 2008. She attended Pasco County schools as a student and was elated to “come home” to teach, coach and mentor other Pasco County students. She enjoys boating, reading and spending quality family time with her husband and two children.
Mrs. Clowes has been a teacher in Pasco County Schools since 2001. From January 2014 to January 2016 she worked at the district office as a Behavior Resource Teacher working with the staff, students, and families for the Social Behavior Programs. While she enjoyed her time at the district office a great deal, she really began to miss having her own students. Her positive experiences as a parent of two Pasco eSchool students, her own experiences as an online learner, and her time spent as a district site coordinator for two online learning programs all led her to come teach at Pasco eSchool. Mrs. Clowes has a bachelor’s degree in Human Services and Sociology and is certified in Middle Grades English 5-9, ESOL K-12, and Social Science 6-12. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, amusement parks, broadway shows, movies, and volunteering. She also enjoys taking mission trips to Haiti, which has become one of her passions. With that said, her favorite past time is spending time with her husband, two boys, and their two dogs, Daxon and D-Dog.

Mrs. Comperatore is originally from Philadelphia, PA and moved to Florida in 2001 with her husband and Shih Tzu. Ms. Comperatore started her career as an Elementary School Guidance Counselor in the 1999-2000 school year and then became a high school counselor at JW Mitchell High school and Anclote High School until joining Pasco eSchool in the 2009-2010 school year. Her goals as an online teacher are to ensure academic success for all students in a positive learning environment while sharing her love and enthusiasm for a healthy lifestyle. Ms Comperatore loves training for triathlons, yoga, running, and spending time with her two children.

Glenn Csontos first wanted to be a teacher when he took Algebra 1. It seemed as though his eyes were opened to a whole new world within that one course. Mr. Csontos was inspired by his teacher, Mr. Bill Jones, and would like to share some of that same excitement and passion into every course he teaches. Mr. Csontos grew up in Florida, then moved to Atlanta to attend Georgia Tech. At Georgia Tech, Mr. Csontos studied engineering. While there, he took advanced mathematics and science courses, along with his engineering coursework. After earned a BSEE (Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering), Mr. Csontos enrolled at Georgia State University to earn an MBA (Master of Business Administration). Mr. Csontos has taught mathematics and physics in high schools, and is very excited and happy to teach at Pasco eSchool. Mr. Csontos also enjoys spending time with his family. He has a beautiful wife and three wonderful children.
Ms Currelly is originally from the Canal Zone in Panama. She graduated from Berea College in Kentucky and has been teaching French and Spanish at Gulf High for over 25 years. Ms Currelly has lived and studied in France and has led student trips to France and Spain for many years. She loves sharing her love of languages with her students. Ms Currelly lives in Tarpon Springs and loves being on or near the water.
American Sign Language Teacher
Mrs. Dawes moved to Bay City, Michigan from Korea where she grew up till she was 9. She then moved with her family to New Port Richey. She is one of the first graduates of the University of South Florida, Educational Interpreting program for the Deaf. She has been teaching ASL since 2006 and previously was a sign language interpreter for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students for Pasco County schools. Mrs. Dawes loves working with students and gets excited when students want a future career using the language. She has had a few former students become interpreters and teachers of the Deaf. She lives in Pasco County with her husband and young daughter and enjoys taking cruises, doing crafts with her daughter, reading, cooking, baking and enjoys a good Bbq with family and friends!
Business Teacher / Course Designer
With a wide variety of interests and skills, Maci Devaney has taught Business, Social Studies, and AP courses since joining in Pasco eSchool in 2011. A graduate of the University of South Florida, Mrs. Devaney has a masters in Curriculum Development with a focus in online learning and currently works as part of a curriculum development team supporting Pasco eSchool teachers and students. On her off time, she loves to travel, read historical novels, and spend time with her husband and young daughter Riley.
Social Studies Teacher
Mr. DiMillo joined the faculty of Pasco eSchool as an adventure. Mr. DiMillo grew up in Portland, Maine, graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a degree in History, and was a member of the 1991 baseball national championship team. He moved to Tampa in 1998. He had previously enjoyed working as a social studies teacher at JW Mitchell High School, helping to launch Mustang U (the ninth-grade academy). His passion for teaching began much earlier, though, as Mr. DiMillo taught in Pinellas County. He has coached basketball, football, track, and baseball. Mr. Dimillo lives in Tampa with his wife and two sons, and he’s actually a very talented cook!
Music, Health, and Physical Education Teacher
Mrs. Duffy has taught a variety of subjects Pre- K through 12th grade. She started her career teaching music at Woodland Elementary School and then switched to Pasco eSchool when it opened. She loves the individualized attention she is able to give her students through the online environment and enjoys collaborating with parents of her eSchool students. Mrs. Duffy earned her B.M. and M.M.E. from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio and moved to Florida in 2006. Mrs. Duffy loves to travel and has been to Taiwan, Ireland, Scotland, Italy, Switzerland, France, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Greece, and Mexico. She has also spent 4 months studying at the Zoltán Kodály Pedagogical Institute of Music in Kecskemét, Hungary. Mrs. Duffy lives with her husband, 2 children, and dog in Land O Lakes.
Would you like to cultivate your deep-seated love of the Spanish language? If so, Ms. DuSel is the instructor for you. Not only has she worked in our local middle schools, developing a following among students and parents with her enthusiastic world languages instruction, but she has also gone global… Ms. DuSel has provided virtual instruction from Spain, England, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and throughout the USA as a member of the Pasco eSchool staff. She consistently goes above and beyond for her students, providing on-site and face-to-face sessions for students. Her upbeat, positive attitude will convince even the most reluctant Spanish speakers to embrace the language and culture. When not teaching Spanish, Ms. DuSel enjoys spending time with her family and serving Pasco County as a Guardian Ad Litem and licensed therapeutic foster parent.

Mrs. Finora is a Social Studies and Family & Consumer Science teacher with Pasco eSchool. She started her career in Pasco County in 1995 as an Elementary Guidance Counselor. She worked with Florida Virtual School and Saint Leo University before joining Pasco eSchool. She graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Child Development and from University of South Florida with her Master’s degree in Counselor Education. In her spare time Mrs. Finora enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her husband and two boys.

Dr. Fisher currently teaches Creative Photography, AP Art History, AP Psychology, Art History and Criticism Honors and Elementary K-5 Teacher. He has been with Pasco eSchool since 2011. He has his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree minoring in Art History from Indiana University. He has a Master of Fine Art from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and a Master of Art Education from Wayne State University in Detroit. Dr. Fisher also has a Specialist in Clinical Psychology and Education from the Center of Humanistic Studies also located in Detroit and his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Michigan School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Fisher has taught 2 and 3 Dimensional Art at J.W. Mitchell High School from 2007 – 2011. Prior to teaching at for Pasco County Dr. Fisher taught Psychology and Art in Royal Oak, Michigan.

Tiffany Marie Foster was born and raised in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Page County, Virginia. She attended Bridgewater College, a small private college, in Bridgewater, VA. There she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, cum laude, and a minor in Computer Information Systems. In February 2014, Tiffany married Jon Foster and moved to Wesley Chapel, Florida. Before joining the faculty at Pasco eSchool, Tiffany taught secondary mathematics at Page County Public Schools and Saddlebrook Preparatory School. She also completed a summer internship at NASA Langley Research Center and loves the connection between science, technology and math. In addition to mathematics, Tiffany loves kayaking, traveling, and spending time outdoors.

Ms. Garcia is aLiteracy Specialist with Pasco eSchool. Originally from Pennsylvania, Mrs. Garcia graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Elementary Education before moving to Florida to begin her teaching career as a classroom teacher. After earning her Master’s degree in Reading Education, she worked as both a reading intervention teacher and a K-12 Literacy Coach. With her strong background in Reading education, Ms. Garcia brings her expertise in working with all students to grow as readers and learners, as well as supporting other teachers and parents in their own learning. Mrs. Garcia enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, and playing all types of sports.
Dan Garcia is currently an Elementary Art teacher in Pasco County and has also joined the Pasco eSchool staff in the fall of 2016 as a Creative Photography Instructor. Dan holds a fine arts degree in both Professional and Digital Photography and strives to perfect his craft daily. He enjoys the flexibility this medium provides an artist in terms exploration of lines, shape and form. With his strong background in all aspects of photography, Mr. Garcia brings his expertise to the world of Photoshop, digital design and creative imagery. He really enjoys taking his children fishing and bike riding and loves football.
Mrs. Gregory has 18 years teaching experience, mostly in Pasco County. She is a graduate of Pasco High School and attended USF, earning her B.S. degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Gregory taught first grade for many years, and several years of Intensive Reading at middle and high school levels. She loves seeing her students get excited about learning and is looking forward to this new way of teaching! Elias Goutoufas began teaching at Pasco eSchool in 2014. As a third-generation teacher, teaching is his lifetime passion. Mr. Goutoufas (pronounced as “goo-TOO-fas”) also teaches American Sign Language classes at both University of South Florida and Hillsborough Community College as an adjunct instructor. Mr. Goutoufas received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing at the University of South Florida and a Master of Education degree in Deaf/Hard of Hearing Education at the University of Minnesota. As a Deaf person, he has been actively involved in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. Mr. Goutoufas also has a younger deaf brother and an older hearing sister. He enjoys reading, video editing, swimming, and socializing with his friends and family. He has a Sheltie named Galaxy.
Ms. Harris was very excited to join the Pasco eSchool team in 2014 as an ESE teacher working with varying exceptionalities. She started working with Pasco County Schools in 2012 with the FAPE program and Vocational Rehab at Marchman Technical Education Center. Ms. Harris has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary and ESE education from USF St. Petersburg. She enjoys spending time with her new baby girl, running, kayaking, and hiking.

Ms. Harter is has been in education since 1987. She has been a teacher of Physical Education, Computer Science and Peer Mediation. She graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and Computer Science and a Master’s of Education in Educational Administration. She has been in Pasco County since 2007 as a Behavior Specialist at JW Mitchell High School and joined Pasco eSchool fulltime in 2013. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and the great outdoors!

Janice Herndon is a Data Entry Operator for Pasco eSchool. Mrs. Herndon has been working with eSchool since 2011 and lives in the Odessa area with her husband and daughter. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and traveling when she gets a chance.
Driver’s Education Teacher
Mr. Hinmon joined the Pasco eSchool family in August 2011. He left the ranks of Adult Education to launch our Driver’s Education program. Mr. Hinmon has worked at Wesley Chapel High School, Wiregrass Ranch High School, Moore-Mickens Education Center, and JW Mitchell High School. He has a strong background in helping students and their parents design a plan to successfully reach their educational goals. He is excited to help Pasco eSchool add more elective courses to meet student needs. Mr. Hinmon lives in New Port Richey with his wife. He is an avid golfer, and devotes much of his free time to his family—including several grandchildren.

Ms. Holt is a Business Education teacher with Pasco eSchool. She began her career in Hillsborough County and has taught in Pasco County since 2009. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education from St. Petersburg College and Master’s degree in Instructional Technology from USF. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her children and grandson.
Physical Education Teacher
Ms. Hoyt graduated from the University of Florida in 1983 with a BS in K-12 Physical Education. She played both basketball and softball there on full scholarship. Other certifications include peer mediation, PALs facilitator (peer assistance and leadership), and ropes course facilitator. She has taught in Maryland, her home state, Texas and now in Florida. Ms. Hoyt have been teaching since 1985, 9 years of elementary, 11 years in middle school and 8 years here in Florida as an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher for students with physical and mental disabilities at J. W. Mitchell High School. In 2013 began teaching at Pasco eSchool and enjoys it tremendously. Ms. Hoyt love fishing, camping and reading and her passion is rooting on my GATORS with a big GATOR CHOMP! Her main passion is teaching kids, all kids can learn and have a special place in her heart.

Mrs. Kelly is from Indiana and graduated from Purdue University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management. She joined Pasco eSchool in June 2013 after teaching at Ridgewood High School for 9 years. She has a passion for teaching and helping students be successful! Mrs. Kelly teaches Parenting Skills, Peer Counseling, and Life Management Skills. In her down time, Mrs. Kelly loves spending time with family and friends, shopping, going to the beach, and she especially loves spending time at Disney World with her husband, 2 boys, and little girl.
Language Arts Teacher
Abigail J. Kennedy is a Nationally Board Certified teacher in Pasco County, Florida. She teaches English IV, AP Literature, and Journalism for Pasco eSchool. She spent the first seven years of her teaching career at Pasco High School, which included yearbook advising. Mrs. Kennedy is an Apple Distinguished Educator, a Master Digital Educator, and a Teacher Consultant for the Tampa Bay Area Writing Project. She reviews YA novels for the Signal and ALAN journals and is recipient of NCTE’s High School Teacher of Excellence Award, FCTE’s Teacher of the Year, and NCTE’s Media Literacy award. Her B.S. is in Telecommunications from UF and her Master’s is in English Education from USF
Stacey Kennon has been an English and Theater instructor for 21 years, both in Florida and in Indiana. Mrs. Kennon’s educational philosophy is guided by the idea that all students can learn and achieve success, and she is privileged to carry on that mission with Pasco eSchool. The most rewarding aspect of her career has been watching the excitement of student learning. Mrs. Kennon earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Master’s Degree in English Education from the University of Florida. Mrs. Kennon is happy to return to the warm, sunny Florida weather and enjoys spending time with her three children.
Letty Sánchez Larkin earned her Spanish Education degree from the University of South Florida in 1995. She has taught Spanish 1, 2, 3, 4, and AP. She is also certified in ESOL and is endorsed in Reading Instruction. Her experience brings compassion and second chances to her students. The most rewarding aspect of her teaching profession is allowing her students to learn about various cultures and appreciate the world around them. She sees strengths in all students and pushes for students to be successful through their own learning styles. Some of her hobbies include spending time with her family in the great outdoors and traveling.

Mr. Ledford has a Bachelor’s Degree in History with Minors in Education and English Literature from Saint Leo University. He also has two Masters of Education Degrees, one in Social Sciences Education and the other in Instructional Technology. He holds certifications in both English and Social Sciences instruction and has a full professional teaching certification from the State of Florida. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. In Social Sciences Education with a focus on Instructional Technology. For several years, Mr. Ledford has coached swimming at both the high school and club levels. In the very limited free time he has, Mr. Ledford enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, cooking, running and playing video games.
Megan Lucas is excited to be a Pasco eSchool Ninja! She has been teaching online for University of Phoenix since 2008 and in the K-12 classroom since 2011. She is thrilled to be able to combine her love of both careers into one fabulous opportunity. Blending her years of experience teaching college freshman with her passion to educate secondary students brings a dynamic experience to her online classroom. Ms. Lucas earned her teaching certification through Shenandoah University in Virginia. She has lived in PA, VA, FL, and Japan. Mrs. Lucas enjoys playing softball, running, cruising, and sitting on the beach. She has completed 5 marathons, including the Tokyo, Marine Corps & Philadelphia Marathons. Her next running challenge is the Clearwater Ultra Marathon in January 2018. Ms. Lucas lives in Pasco County with her husband and two children.
Mrs. Maniscalco has been a part of Pasco eSchool since the very beginning in 2009. She has been teaching a variety of science subjects offered over the last 5 years with eSchool for both middle school and high school students. In her spare time, Mrs. Maniscalco has devoted many hours in volunteering and working for the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and other environmental causes. She has been able to engage her students in applying their science knowledge to the world around them. She enjoys outdoor activities and spending time on or in the water whenever possible.
Mrs. Mathews grew up on the east coast of FL. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Music Education from Lenoir-Rhyne University, in Hickory, NC. She has been a band director for 25 ½ years, and has taught at both the MS and HS levels in NC and FL. She started working for Pasco County Schools, at Centennial Middle School in 2007, and has now joined Pasco eSchool teaching Music of the World and Guitar I. She is excited to be part of the team, and is looking forward to working one on one with students and creating an online musical experience for her classes! Mrs. Mathews is married, and has three children. In her spare time, she enjoys trail running, camping, watching her children play sports and going to Bucs games!

Mrs. Mattes knew she wanted to be a teacher since she was young. Her mom, sister and husband are all teachers! After graduating with a degree in History from Brigham Young University, she began teaching in 2004. She has taught in both, high school and middle school. Mrs. Mattes lives in Pensacola, FL with her husband and two rambunctious kids.

Shannon McCart has been teaching Math in Pasco County since 2004 and has taught for Pasco eSchool since 2013. She went to the University of Central Florida and holds a degree in Management Information Systems. Her husband is also a teacher in Pasco County and they have two young daughters who keep them busy!
Physical Education Teacher
Jeannie McDougall graduated from the University of South Florida and has been teaching in Pasco County for 22 years. She has spent the majority of her teaching career at Centennial Middle School where she was a Language Arts teacher and an 8th grade US History teacher. Mrs. McDougall also had the opportunity to serve her staff and students as the Reading Coach and later, the Literacy Coach at her previous school. She has participated in leading various Professional Development opportunities across the district as well as presenting at state conferences for literacy initiatives. Her husband is also a Physical Education teacher in Pasco County and she has two children in Pasco County schools.

John McDougall has served as a coach and teacher in Pasco County since 1994. Upon graduation, he was selected as the Outstanding Senior in the Physical Education program and represented the University of South Florida at the National Conference in Denver Colorado. He is passionate about teaching students the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle and incorporating physical activity in their daily routines. He began his career as a high school coach and teacher of Physical Education but has had the opportunity over the past few years to teach in the middle and elementary setting as well. He enjoys traveling with his family and taking any opportunity to get out an enjoy the outdoors.
Mrs. Mosser is a proud Florida State University graduate and has been a teacher since 1998. She has taught Chemistry, Earth Space Science, Biology, Study Skills, Physics, and Leadership Skills Development. She joined the Pasco eSchool family in 2013 as an Instructional Coach with almost a decade of online teaching experience. She is originally from St. Petersburg, Florida and enjoys coffee, dancing, scrapbooking, and spending time with her two boys ages 5 and 8 and her husband of 13 years. Something most people don’t know about her is that she is a Clown College graduate!
Mrs. Newell has been teaching math in Pasco County since 2007. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of South Florida and is currently completing her master’s degree in the same field through Georgia State University. Her experiences as an online learner at GSU were a driving force in Mrs. Newell’s desire to become an online instructor. Mrs. Newell truly enjoys helping students develop an appreciation for mathematical concepts while discovering connections to their daily lives. Mrs. Newell and her husband have a son and daughter and enjoy spending family time outdoors!

Deann Newton earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Western Oregon University, while competing as a two-sport college athlete in Volleyball and Softball. Deann has a passion for helping students learn how to live a healthy and active lifestyle, whether it is through sports, fitness, or nutrition. Deann started teaching in Pasco County in 2001, as a middle school Physical Education Teacher. She then moved on to the high school level at Mitchell High School, teaching Physical Education and Health, while coaching volleyball as the JV/Varsity Assistant Coach. In 2006, Deann was given the opportunity to teach online at Florida Virtual School, where she taught HOPE, Personal Fitness, and Fitness Lifestyle Design, until 2013. In her spare time, Deann enjoys spending time with her husband, and two active children, in their sports and activities. Deann also continues to be the Head Volleyball Coach for the Lady Seahawks at Sunlake High School.
Leslie Nunn graduated from McKeesport high School, Pennsylvania in 1978, majored in Business. She moved to Florida over 30 years ago. She has worked as a Secretary for 25+ years and joined Pasco County Schools in 2002. She has been married to her husband Jeff for over 25 years and they have two beautiful daughters, Stephanie and Megan, and their dog, Sadie. She enjoys doing things with her family, going to garage sales/auctions, shopping or just hanging out at home. She started with Pasco eSchool when it came into existence in 2009.
Michelle has been with Pasco county since 2011 and Pasco eSchool since 2013. Currently graduated from Saint Leo University with Bachelors in Elementary Education and K-12 Reading and ESOL Endorsements. I am also certified K-12 Spanish. Currently teaching Secondary and Primary Spanish courses with eSchool. I enjoy staying busy with my husband and two children. We love soccer (fútbol)!
Gonzalo Páez became a teacher in 2012 after a ten-year career as a journalist. He has two master’s degrees, one in Mass Communication (FIU) and the other in Spanish (USF), and has taught Spanish and writing at the college level. Mr. Páez joined Pasco eSchool in 2015 to teach Spanish courses. He is an instructor by day, a writer by night, and a sailor on the weekends.

Ms. Podany joined Pasco eSchool full-time in 2014 after teaching in Pasco County since 2007 in a variety of Middle and High Schools throughout the district. She previously taught multiple subjects with FLVS and FLVS Global School as well. Ms. Podany is most proud of having been able to reach students from a variety of settings and with various learning backgrounds and helping them to find success in each her classes. Ms. Podany holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science w/ Pre-Law emphasis from USF and a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Nova Southeastern University. In her free time, Ms. Podany enjoys reading, writing, watching movies, doing Yoga, and most especially, spending quality time with her two daughters. Ms. Podany hopes to continue to help each of her students achieve personal success in her classes at Pasco eSchool and is thrilled to be part of this amazing group of teachers!

Mrs. Pote is originally from Philadelphia, PA, but she has been an English instructor in the state of Florida since 2004. Language is Mrs. Pote’s specialty, and her first teaching job was as an Italian instructor. She has a Bachelor’s degree in English, with a minor in Italian, and she has continued her training through professional development in the areas of reading, writing and online education. Mrs. Pote’s certifications include English for grades 6-12, ESOL and Middle Grades Integrated Curriculum. In her free time, Mrs. Pote enjoys reading, traveling, baking and spending time at the beach with her husband.

Ms. Radle earned her B.S. degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. She taught Social Studies in the mountains of Virginia for seven years before moving to Florida. Once in Florida she continued teaching Social Studies while earning her Masters Degree in School Counseling from the University of South Florida. She worked as a counselor in Pasco County seven years before joining the Pasco eSchool counseling staff. She is so excited about joining the eSchool team and being an integral part of bringing 21st century learning to Pasco County. The versatility and 21st century skills students are afforded with Pasco eSchool is so exciting! She is happily married and has two very active little boys. She enjoys reading, traveling and cheering on her boys at their Little League games!
Linda Ramsay-Wood taught High school Mathematics and Physical Education in Wales UK, for approximately 20 years, before moving to Florida with her five children. She worked alongside her children at Marlow Elementary (Pre K VE), Seven Springs Middle (Co-teach ESE, 7th/8th grade Mathematics and Intensive Reading) and J W Mitchell High (Intensive Reading, Algebra 1 and Pre. Calculus). She then worked as Head of ESE at Ridgewood High and as a Graduation Enhancement teacher at Paul R Smith, before joining Pasco eSchool. She enjoys being outdoors; at the beach, sailing, kayaking and hiking. She is passionate about her children and being involved in their lives, even though they are all grown, and indeed in working with children in general. She believes that teaching students online is becoming an intrical part of our education system, and provides a limitless platform for exploration.
Ms. Reynolds has been an Art Educator in Pasco County since 1991. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from Berea College, and became certified as a K-12 teacher through the University of South Florida Master’s of Art Education Program. Ms. Reynolds’ philosophy is that one should never stop learning – there is so much yet to explore! She has become a big ‘Noles fan since both of her daughters graduated from J.W. Mitchell High School and are now attending Florida State University.

Rena Sadler graduated from the University of South Florida with Bachelors degrees in Biomedical Science and Psychology. Before earning her Masters degree in School Counseling, she taught science at the middle and high school levels. Mrs. Sadler grew up in Pasco County and enjoys spending time out doors with her family.

Mrs. Reker earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida in Social Work. After working many years in social services Mrs. Reker decided to go back to school and earn her Master’s in School Counseling. She joined Pasco County Schools as a high school counselor and has now joined Pasco eSchool working with the full time students. When Mrs. Reker is not working she enjoys being outside and spending time with her friends and family.
Learning Design Coach
Daniel Rushton has been in education for 16 years at all levels, from kindergarten through college. He has his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from East Stroudsburg University, his Masters in Exercise Physiology from Bloomsburg University, and is currently working on his doctoral dissertation with Concordia University, Portland. The most important skill that he brings to his job is his flexibility and adaptability to almost any situation in order to get the job done. Dan also takes pride in his drive to provide support in the most timely manner possible. The most significant accomplishment that has occurred in Dan’s career has been the transition from a high and middle-grade, alternative school classroom teacher into a coaches roll as the Learning Design Coach at Hudson Elementary and now Pasco eSchool. Dan has two main hobbies. He is a musician who can tolerably play anything with strings (his main instruments are the guitar and bass). Dan has also been a competitive powerlifter and strongman competitor. Although he is currently not competing (due to working on his dissertation) he still trains hard and heavy most days of the week.
Mrs. Sanchez has been with Pasco County schools since 2008. She received her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Freed-Hardeman University, Henderson, Tennessee. She is excited to be part of “Team Spanish” at Pasco eSchool teaching Spanish 3, Spanish 4 and AP Spanish. She loves teaching Spanish and sharing the knowledge of the language and culture with her students. Her goal is to achieve student learning and success by creating a positive and engaging online learning environment. Mrs. Sanchez loves technology and enjoys finding new teaching resources to maximize student learning and success. When she is not teaching she enjoys: reading, going to the beach, and spending time with her husband and their three boys.

Danny joined Pasco eSchool in 2013 to help support Canvas and teach CTE Courses having worked previously as a Instructional Technology Specialist in Pasco since 2001. He received his Bachelors degree in Industrial Arts Technology Education from USF and a Masters degree in Instructional Technology. Helping schools innovate and integrate technology is his passion. Hiking, photography and camping with his wife Susan are his favorite hobbies.
Personal Fitness / HOPE Teacher
Susan Sesker got her BA from UCF and her masters from USF. She has been teaching since 1990. She has taught Physical Education, middle grades Math and Science, Algebra 1, Geometry, and has been a School Counselor for the past eight years. Her passion is to help student succeed. Her most significant accomplishments have been when students approach her at the end of the year thanking her for her help and support. Susan likes to read, visit with family, and travel the United States with her husband. Mrs. Sesker is very excited to join Pasco eSchool as a Physical Education teacher. She loves the course curriculum and interacting with the students.
American Sign Language Teacher
Elizabeth Shedlock became an official Pasco eSchool Ninja in the fall of 2016, teaching American Sign Language (ASL). Ms. Shedlock first started her post-secondary education as a musical theatre major. She became a musical theatre teacher in 2006 for a private school in the Tampa Bay area, but decided to continue her education in the area of ASL interpreting. Ms. Shedlock received her Bachelor’s degree in ASL interpreting from University of South Florida in May 2012. She began contracting as an interpreter in the Tampa Bay area, working in a variety of settings. Ms. Shedlock holds an interpreting QA level 3 in the state of Florida, as well as an Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) level 3.4. In 2016, Ms. Shedlock transitioned her skills as an ASL interpreter to teaching ASL at Pasco eSchool. She feels that her experience working with a multitude of students and clients over the years, as well her ASL fluency and skills, are her strongest assets to the eSchool team. When Ms. Shedlock isn’t interacting with students or peers, she enjoys cross-stitching, video games and spending time with family and friends.
Social Studies Teacher
Mrs. Sierra has been passionate about history since she was 9 years old and did her first report on George Washington and the American Revolution. She teaches World History for Pasco eSchool. Mrs. Sierra graduated from University of South Florida with a History degree and has been teaching in Pasco County for almost four years. Before moving to Florida, Mrs. Sierra grew up in Anchorage, Alaska where she enjoyed ice skating and skiing. She’s traded snow for sand and, with her husband, is raising two adorable Florida babies who know absolutely nothing about snow or cold weather.
Mrs. Slavkin is a native Floridian who was born in Orlando, Fl and raised in Pinellas County. She is a graduate of University of Tampa with her bachelors in Exercise Science and Sports Studies and a minor in Athletic Training. When married she moved to the Zephyrhills area and now resides in Wesley Chapel. She has taught in Pasco County since 2001 where she opened Centennial Middle School and worked there for 11 years until pursuing her online teaching career with FLVS for a year. Then in October of 2013 returned to Pasco County again taking on her new role with Pasco eSchool. She is an avid sports lover and has coached many sports including girl’s volleyball, basketball, and soccer. She is currently the Girl’s JV Volleyball Coach at SunLake High School. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and son on the water boating, fishing, and beaching it!
Annie Brooke Sumner-Whipple
Social Studies Teacher
Mrs. Whipple was born and raised in Pasco County and knew she wanted to be a Social Studies teacher since she was introduced to Ancient Civilizations in 6th grade! She graduated from University of South Florida in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Social Studies Education. Mrs. Whipple taught 6th and 7th grade at Centennial Middle School for the majority of her teaching career and is excited to join the Middle School team at Pasco eSchool. Mrs. Whipple currently teaches Social Studies for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. She loves to read, learn, camp and spend time at the beach with her daughter and husband.
Physical Education Teacher
Jennifer Stanley joined Pasco County Schools when she relocated from Ft. Bragg, NC to Florida with her family in 2013. While living in North Carolina Mrs. Stanley worked with Cumberland County Schools as an Exceptional Children’s teacher in elementary schools and then transitioned to teaching AP Psychology and Government at an independent school as well as coaching cross country and track and field. Mrs. Stanley graduated from Fayetteville State University with a bachelor of science degree in Psychology and a bachelor of art degree in History. She also holds a master of science degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention, a master of science degree in Sport Management with a concentration in Sports Counseling, and a post graduate certificate in Rehabilitative Science from California University of Pennsylvania. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters spending as much time as possible at the beach.

Mrs. Stern is a native Floridian. She began her Pasco County teaching career at River Ridge High School in 1996 working with students with Varying exceptionalities. With the opening of Sunlake high school, Mrs. Stern opened the school as their Instructional Technology Specialist. In July of 2012, she joined the faculty at Pasco eSchool to help with technology support and teach Leadership. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
Mrs. Taylor was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She moved to Florida after her graduation from Georgia State University with a degree in Biology. After moving to Florida, she continued her education and received a Master’s degree in Secondary Science Education from the University of South Florida. She began teaching Biology in 2002 at J.W. Mitchell High School. For the last 7 years, she has been working at Bayonet Point Middle School as a media specialist and most recently an ICT literacy coach. Mrs. Taylor is married and has two children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and yoga.
Ms. Thomson began her teaching career at Shady Hills Elementary School in Pasco County. With the opening of Anclote High School, Ms. Thomson sought to help build a new school by signing on to serve as the Career Specialist. This experience offered Ms. Thomson the chance to learn more about the K-12 journey for students, and helped her to make connections with middle schools, high schools, and colleges. Her tireless energy and adventurous spirit have now led her to make her mark on another school: Pasco eSchool. Ms. Thomson’s commitment to go above and beyond for her students, the school, and the community will serve to ensure that our district-led elementary program will build a strong foundation for students to succeed beyond their elementary school careers.
Mrs. Wachtel has been teaching since August of 2002. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education: Mathematics from Ohio University. Teaching became her career choice for a number of reasons including her love of learning, making math fun and helping others. She followed up her Bachelor’s degrees with a Masters in Biostatistics from University of South Florida. Mrs. Wachtel started her teaching career in Pasco county then switched to Florida Virtual School for 3.5 years before coming on board with Pasco eSchool. She has been teaching online since 2008. She loves being able to work one on one with students and using technology to relate Math to real world applications. Some hobbies of hers include spending time with her family, running, swimming and yoga.
K-2 STEAM Teacher
Mr. Walker is an Elementary Math and Science Teacher with Pasco eSchool. With a Bachelors Degree in exceptional student education, he has been a Pasco County Teacher since 2006, teaching in both Intermediate and primary classrooms. He also spent time as a Technology Specialist and ICT Specialist. Joining the Pasco eSchool family in 2014, Mr. Walker works to combine his love of teaching and technology to create online learning experiences that will foster the love of learning in others. Mr. Walker loves spending time with his wife and daughters, playing and watching hockey, and listening to and creating music.
Drivers Ed & Social Studies Teacher
Ms. Wallace joined Pasco eSchool as a Driver Education and Psychology I teacher in November 2013. She is originally from Buffalo, New York and moved down to Florida when she was in 5th grade. She attended Gulfside Elementary, Gulf Junior High, and Gulf High School (until the end of 9th grade). She graduated from Countryside High School. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science Education and Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science, both from the University of South Florida. Go Bulls! She worked as a media specialist in Pinellas County and at Gulf High School and J.W. Mitchell High School. She was also a DCT/OJT and SSAP teacher at Gulf High School. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and going to the beach. She has two great kids that attend River Ridge.
English and Latin Teacher
Ms. Wilson teaches English and Latin and has worked at Pasco eSchool since 2012. She hopes to share her love of reading, writing and languages with her students. Ms. Wilson began teaching in 2000 and moved to the Tampa area in 2008 from Melbourne, Florida where she taught high school English, reading and French. Before moving to Florida and becoming a teacher, Ms. Wilson worked as a journalist and wrote for a variety of newspapers and magazines in Georgia and Alabama. She holds a master’s degree in English Education from the University of Central Florida and a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts/Journalism and French from Berry College in Rome, Georgia. When not teaching, Ms. Wilson loves to read, garden, make crafts, and travel. She has visited 11 countries and studied abroad. Ms. Wilson is originally from Atlanta and lives in east Pasco County with her daughter and two cats.
Language Arts Teacher
Tara Wood has been a teacher in Pasco County Schools since 1995, spending most of her career at Pasco High School, her alma mater. She was one of eSchool’s original adjuncts when the school launched in (2009?), but she is excited to make the leap to full time eSchool Ninja this year. She attended the University of South Florida, earning her undergraduate degree in English Education and her Master’s degree in Library and Information Science. Ms. Wood is passionate about libraries and reading, and she enjoys learning how to create, especially with projects like knitting and crocheting.
Mrs. Wooles has a love for mathematics and technology. Mrs. Wooles has taught for Pasco eSchool since 2010. She is proud to be a part of the virtual world where students will learn the tools necessary to become successful in their immediate future. She believes that individuals are lifetime students and there is something to learn from every situation that can be applied to your personal life. Mrs. Wooles graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education and a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology from USF. She has a passion for sports; baseball, running, paddle boarding. Mrs. Wooles and her husband have a son and a daughter.
