After Enrollment

Ready to get started in your online course(s)? Please follow the steps below:

Check emails DAILY!
Students will receive a welcome letter from each course instructor through their VSA email account. Welcome letters will contain a course overview, contact information, and a link to the instructor’s online appointment book.

Welcome Calls
Once students have reviewed the information in the welcome letter, it is time to schedule a welcome call with the instructor. The instructor will need to speak with the student and a parent/guardian in order to review policies, procedures, and course details.  Students WILL NOT be able to access the course until a welcome call is complete and the instructor activates the student.

Educator Overview
If you are a new student to Pasco eSchool or have not worked in Educator before, please take some time to complete the New Student Orientation at http://nso.flvs.net/.

Log into Courses
Once the instructor has activated the student in the course, the next step is to log in.  From the main page, students should familiarize themselves with the course features, read the announcement, and look over the course content.

Pace Charts
Pace charts are located under the Course Information tab and should be printed and kept somewhere the student can quickly reference.  Students may choose between a traditional (16 week), accelerated (8 week), or honors pace chart. *Many teachers may also send out a preferred pace chart and/or email weekly pace reminders through VSA. All students are expected to log in weekly and to complete the required assignments for each course.

Stay in contact
Instructors have office hours and are available via multiple contact options (call, email, text, skype etc.) for questions or concerns. Be sure to check emails daily, as this is our instructor’s primary method of contact. Monthly calls and DBA’s are required contacts and should be scheduled with the instructor when needed.
